I bought Bejeweled 2 Deluxe. I couldn’t resist it. Its license can be installed 5 times, so if you accidentally wipe your harddisk or like to install it on your laptop, you can do that. Cool.
My action hiscore is now 519450, my second place is 504500. I have to get a score of about 310000 to even get to the hiscore-list now.
One surprise, my girlfriend is addicted too. And she doesn’t even like games, so she says!
Update (20:49): Hiscore is now 798200 and I need to score above 360000 to get on the list.
How do you get to the next level in bejewled 2 deluxe? I havent figured this out yet.
email me if you know

Hi Shawn,
Are you playing classic or action? In classic you need to remove quite a lot of gems to fill the progressbar on the bottom. When that is full, you will proceed to the next level. In action you need to be quick, since the progress bar fills when you remove gems but empties when you do nothing (are thinking). Remove the gems fast and the bar will fill up.
I never play the other (endless and puzzle) modes.
By the way, my action hi-score is now somewhere in the 900,000! I need to score about 700,000 to even get on the list now.
43,000 is my wife’s high score (Bejeweled 2 Classic mode web version) and she gets up to level 7 or 8. How do you get up to 500,000+++? I’m thinking there are tricks to building hypercubes, chain reactions, and avoiding the dreaded “No More Moves”. What are your techniques? If there is a site that describes I’d love to get the URL. So far your blog is best hit I can find.
PS: I found your blog by searching for “Bejeweled 2” tricks. I’m sure others are hitting your site by trying to figure out how to score better in this addictive fun game. Thanks for sharing your scores and experiences.

Hi Zephan,
I don’t play Classic mode, only Action. Hiscore is just under 1.000.000 now. The trick with Action is not to get nervous. It’s fast at the higher levels, but if you concentrate hard, you will SEE what to remove. The waiting between removals is what will drive the timer crazy: by doing move 1 and already seeing what do to next, you have virtually no time between 2 removals. That works best for me.
The trick with Classic is NEVER remove something so you’ll end up having only 1 combination to remove. Try to create combinations to remove, and not only remove what accidently came on your path.
In Action I sometimes end up having combo’s of 5 or 6. My biggest combo is 10 times now. That’s a great way to score as well.
Anyways: good luck trying. Nowadays I’m more programming C# than playing Bejeweled 2, but I still love that game. Oh, and sometimes I play the game with my drawing-tablet (it has a stylo) instead of using the mouse. It takes some getting used to, but it did up my hiscores a little.
Search-engines are great, aren’t they? I see a lot of hits on my blog for Bejeweled, and they all come from search-engines.
Thanks!
